This blog is slightly different from my previous café visits. Even though this is a café review, I did not actually go there for coffee.
My cousin had a stadium tour booked at Chelsea Football Stadium, and since I am more of a cricket fan, I decided to explore nearby cafés while he was on the tour. I was specifically looking for a place close to the stadium that offered good food, as I had not eaten anything that day. That is when I came across Amor Artisan Café on Fulham Road.
Café Atmosphere and First Impressions
The café had a calm and relaxed atmosphere, which instantly made me feel comfortable. The interior felt welcoming, and it was the kind of place where you could sit down and enjoy a proper meal without feeling rushed.
When I looked through the menu, everything sounded tempting. One thing I noticed was that pancakes were not listed, even though I had seen pancakes in their Google photos. I decided to ask the staff if pancakes were available, and to my surprise, they said yes and were happy to prepare them specially for me, even though they were not on the menu.
Food Review – Pancakes, Hash Browns, and Mushrooms
The pancakes were incredibly fluffy and came topped with bananas. I really enjoyed how light and fresh they tasted. Alongside the pancakes, I ordered hash browns and mushrooms, creating a plate filled with all my comfort favourites.
The hash browns were extremely crispy without being greasy, and the mushrooms were well seasoned with balanced flavours. The portion size was generous and very satisfying, especially considering I had skipped meals earlier that day.
Pricing and Service
The prices at Amor Artisan Café were very reasonable, especially for a café in London. It is a genuinely affordable option if you are looking for good food near Chelsea Football Stadium.
The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. They happily prepared pancakes on request and were also very understanding when I stayed for an extra 30 minutes after finishing my meal. That level of hospitality really stood out.
Overall Experience at Amor Artisan Café
The wooden flooring and cosy interior gave the café a homely feel. I also noticed that they offer smoothies and a selection of pastries, which looked very tempting. If I had not already satisfied my sweet cravings with the pancakes, I would have definitely tried them.
Overall, I had a great experience at Amor Artisan Café on Fulham Road. It is a café I would happily visit again if I am ever near Chelsea Football Stadium and looking for a relaxed spot with good food and friendly service.
What started as a quick meal to fill my stomach ended with my heart feeling full.
