About Me
Hi, I am Vathsan, a full time engineer with a deep love for food and coffee. I moved from India to Edinburgh at the age of 18 to study my MEng in Architectural Engineering. I have always been someone who finds change difficult, so after moving, I spent quite some time cooking and eating only Indian food, as it reminded me of home.
Eventually, I joined my university’s foodie society, where we explored a wide range of restaurants across Edinburgh, helping me appreciate food from different cultures and gradually opening me up to new cuisines. I am especially grateful to my university friends who encouraged me to try unfamiliar dishes and introduced me to good coffee, and around the same time I also began cooking and baking more often, discovering new flavours in my own kitchen. I now live in London and work a regular 9 to 5, spending much of my free time exploring food spots on my own, and creating this blog felt like a natural way to share those experiences. Food is very close to my heart, and if you enjoy discovering new, particularly budget friendly places to eat, I would love for you to join me on this journey, along with simple recipes that I enjoy making at home.

Like my cap says
” STACK PANCAKES NOT PROBLEMS”
That is the vibe here.
